Award comes as part of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Community Development initiatives to celebrate the International Day of the Arabic language which is organized by UNESCO and as the fulfillment of the second strategic goal of preserving the national identity and promotion of its elements.
Objectives of the award:
- To spread the culture of celebrating Arabic calligraphy.
- To encourage younger generations to learn calligraphy and attain mastery in it.
- An Inclusive participation in the Contest by all the citizens of the UAE, to make it reality.
- To create awareness regarding the importance of the Arabic language and its place in the world.
- To upgrade the level of interest and taste for aesthetics of calligraphy.

- The accuracy of the written text.
- Proficiency of the style used.
- Innovation and creativity in the piece of art.
How to participate:
- The contestant will fill the participation form and validate the data and phone numbers entered in the form.
- One can get the application form at the ministry's headquarters or at one of its centers or visit the website of the Ministry of www.mcycd.gov.ae.
- The request could be sent to the cultural centers of the ministry in each emirate or to the main building in Abu Dhabi or Dubai.
