In the quest to develop information sources of various types, and to satisfy information needs for readers through provision of updated information sources of knowledge priority, the Acquisition Section has subscribed in the following databases:

ProQuest database provides timely and easy access through navigating in more than 125 billion digital pages in various fields; arts, literature, social sciences, science and technology and medicine, in addition it has the largest digital pages archive in the world, as well as thesis in various academic specialties.
 
e-Li​​brary database is characterized by immediate access to at least 78158 of electronic books in various human knowledge, with the option to download books to laptops, iphones, ipads, etc). It also allows users to download their own content and makes it searchable.
 
It concentrates on study sources and references related to curriculums such as books, periodicals, educational instruments specially designed to school students.
 
Al Manhal is the one-of-its-kind electronic platform in the world that you can search to get the full text of the Arabic publication with the digital copyrights protected. The user can access thousand of electronic publications of pioneering universities, research centers and prominent scientific societies in the Arab world.
 
This is an electronic archive of books published 1820-1914 from Egypt, Syria and the Islamic World. With over 2,500 titles, this collection covers humanistic, intellectual and scientific fields. Subject categories include philosophy and theology, literature, arts, history and politics, including writings from Mahmoud Abdo, Gamal El Din El Afgahany and Rashid Reda.
